Business Continuity Planning

Build a Plan

The Drawbridge Partners' team will work with you to recognize the threats and risks facing your firm in order to build a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) ensuring personnel and assets are protected and able to function in the event of an emergency or disaster.

This will include site loss or significant business disruption due to a fire or weather conditions causing the business to not be able to operate under normal or 'Business As Usual' circumstances. A BCP involves the following:

Organizational Threat Analysis

A list of Business Units and their pimary operations to keep 'Business As Usual'

Recovery Time Objective for Business Units and Systems

Recovery Point Objective for Systems

Crisis Communication Planning

Alternate Work Strategies and Alternate Work Locations

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

Information on data backups and site backups

Business Impact Assessment

personnel and assets in the event of an emergency or disaster

The Next Step

When working to develop a BCP, all threats to the organization that could cause a disruption to normal business operations should be considered and evaluated. The next step is to determine the most significant tasks required to continue operations and return the firm to its normal operations.

The creation of a BCP is essential to all firms.
